Long time... Well I got my computer back a few days ago so now I am whole again. Though I have been having some serious thought about how my work is coming along. I was disgusted at how airbrushy my work has been getting. So I decided to do this speed paint over of Joe MAD!'s sketch of the hulk. I like it alot, tell me what you think?
Haha yea. This was only a 10min speed paint. But the whole idea was to make it more rough and textured rather than soft and perfect. I think I just need to loosen up with how Im doing it.
Forget about speed, the more detail and textures you want in there the more time you should spend on it. You have an amazing talent, and if you take your time to explore it you will reach unimaginable goals. No rush to finish a piece unless you have a deadline to meet. Keep up the bad ass and awesome work.
Looks good to me. I see alot of people using painter 10 to get a more painterly less airbrushy look, albeit its a totally seperate program from photoshop (hence investing alot of time to learn it), it seems to be a decent tool. I think your stuff is badass as it is, but if you want to try a more painted look try exploring painter .
Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Have a great time everyone and please fav this article so as many people can see the featured works. I would recommend seeing each one and faving them too.
