Its FINISHED!
Unless anyone has any suggestions on how I could make it better it is done. Origional lines drawn by the great Artgerm [link] of his character Pepper. I really enjoyed painting this piece and lernt so many new things. This is my second attempt at doing hair and it was done very quickly and messy because that was the approach I was going for, same with the clouds. Still not sure on the clouds I could blend them like the skin but I will waite to see what people say. Comments and Crits are welcome and I might put up a process to this one soon to show you guys the steps I take. A tutorial of how I did this piece can be found here:[link] Lines by the great: Artgerm [link] Colours by: Nubry Enjoy Edit: Fixed the lighting problem with the neck. |

first of all I want to say that I think that what you are doing is already really good especially since you said you have only been coloring for tow months or so.
However I think you work alot with the smudge tool which is not a bad thing and I started out working that way aswell but once you start to work with hi resolution files the smudge tool will pretty much become unuseable even with a good computer.
And everything you can do with the smudge tool can be done with brushes wich is way faster for your computer.
As I said before I think you are already pretty good and there is not so much to crit and since I suck with crits I did a little paint over for you where I changed some small anatomic errors or problems I have found.
I see what you were going for with her neck but I dont think the way you did it works and maybe the lines dont suggest that soirt of lighting.
Anyways have a look and I hope this was helpfull for you
